About The Teacher
My Story
Hi, I’m Ashlee. I found my passion for yoga six years ago. I originally came to yoga to help with running, but found a love for the movements and a thirst for more. I found myself searching and yearning for deeper understanding of the practice and its possibilities. I immersed myself as much as I could, consistently seeking out workshops and teachings to evolve my knowledge and abilities.
In an effort to deepen my practice, I pursued education on multiple facets of yoga, including completing yoga teacher training to become a certified yoga teacher. With this, I received a greater understanding of the true meaning of yoga, and the amazing benefits it has for the practitioner. I am dedicated to learning as much as possible about the practice, and the ways I can share the benefits I feel with those I teach. In devotion to continuing my education and enhancing my classes in the future, I am currently taking a 200hr RYTT from Anjai Yoga, and I am expected to graduated in January 2021. I hold the belief that no matter how long you practice, there will always be something new to learn.
I believe Yoga and meditation are powerful healing tools for the mind, body and spirit, and I am a strong advocate for taking your yoga off your mat and into your life. In an effort to bring this concept to my students, I incorporate exercises on meditation and mindfulness into each of my classes. I try to teach in such a way my students can take their lessons into their daily lives, and begin to cultivate peace and balance through every thread of their day.
Above all else, I hope to spread love and peace to all those who surround me.
